Koch Ultrasource Intact model RM-572 semi-automatic vacuum skin
packaging machine for retail-ready film to tray / tray oversealing,
film to board, and film to film modified atmosphere packaging
applications, producing high-gloss, wrinkle-free vacuum skin packages
at a fraction of the cost of most roll stock packaging machines. Skin
packaging is popular for a wide range of fresh or frozen meat, poultry,
and seafood products, such as "salmon on a plank", tenderloin steaks,
rib eye steaks, loin pork chops, t-bones, fish, sushi, oysters, lobster
tail, salmon or shrimp, in packaging from metalized heat sealable
cardboard, to rigid barrier trays, to wood planks, using fresh,
freezer, or barrier films.
Each vacuum sealing chamber
is 20 inches long by 28 inches wide by 3.5 inches deep.
